Juventus Forward On the Sights of Two Bundesliga Giants

Federico Chiesa’s rise to the top has been slow and steady. The Juventus forward has managed to garner the attention of some of Europe’s most renowned clubs after playing a key role in Italy’s run to the EURO 2020 title back in July.

According to reports from German outlet Bild (via Calciomercato), two German heavyweights are lining up for a potential transfer of the youngster. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are both interested in the 23-year-old who only joined the Bianconeri last summer on a two-year loan deal.

Although Juventus did not do well in Serie A or the UEFA Champions League, they did manage to win the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia, and the former Fiorentina player played a key role in keeping team spirits high with his ever-energetic displays.

Julian Nagelsmann reportedly wants a forward who can rival and possibly replace Robert Lewandowski. The former RB Leipzig manager is said to be a fan of Chiesa.

Dortmund on the other hand, will most likely part ways with their main talisman Erling Haaland at the end of the current season.

Chiesa has appeared only thrice for Juventus this season so far, registering only 100 playing minutes, mainly from substitution appearances.
