Roma marksman Tammy Abraham has gained stardom in quite a short amount of time at the Stadio Olimpico, with the Chelsea youth product etching 27 goals in 53 appearances for the Giallorossi in his first season.

While he has not gone on to rack early numbers as he did at the start of his debut Serie A campaign in 2021/22, Abraham has nonetheless drawn the attention of several top clubs, including a handful of Premier League giants.

As per reports from England, from GiveMeSport in particular, the England forward is back on the radars of Manchester United. The Red Devils were linked with the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window, but failed to make advances for him.

However, they are back in the picture as Erik Ten Hag looks to bolster his frontline with a pure number nine. Despite adding Anthony and Christian Eriksen in the summer, the record English champions have suffered due the lack of a striker’s presence who can finish chances off.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been off-touch due to the lack of game time and Anthony Martial is struggling with fitness problems. With all such issues surrounding the frontline, the Manchester natives have shortlisted Abraham’s profile as the ideal addition.

The Englishman has a buyback clause that leans ex-club Chelsea’s way. It is touted to be activated in 2023, seemingly worth around the €80M mark.
