Luka Romero turns 18 today and will receive his birthday gift in the form of a Lazio contract renewal at the end of the month. The Argentina youth international now seems to be an integral part of the Biancocelesti outfit under Maurizio Sarri, and will be duly rewarded for his efforts come November end.
According to Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), club president Claudio Lotito has instructed sporting director Igli Tare to close the negotiation with the entourage of the young attacker, whose contract is due to expire in the summer of 2023. Reportedly, there have been no hitches in the extension talks between the two parties, and Romero is expected to pen a renewed deal not far from now.

Romero will sign extend his stay until June 2026 – an additional three years over his existing deal at the Stadio Olimpico.
Sarri has entrusted him with leading the line on the win, having started him recently in the 3-0 defeat to Juventus. He has just 15 appearances for Lazio so far, but as witnessed, Romero is already winning hearts in the sky blue colors.
