Milan Eyeing Olivier Giroud and Amine Adli to Bolster the Attack

Milan plan to tweak their front-line in the summer and are keeping tabs on Olivier Giroud and Amine Adli. The Chelsea striker has been routinely linked to Serie A teams in the last two seasons and always ended up staying. However, he is now poised to turn down the option to extend his contract with the Blues and leave for free in the summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The 34-year-old forward is looking to get €5M wages in his next deal. The Rossoneri are set to move on from Mario Mandzukic and bring in a new alternative to Zlatan Ibrahimovich.

The intermediary Vincenzo Morabito told Calciomercato.com: “He was close to moving to Italy in January. Now his agent is evaluating several offers, three are coming from English clubs, but there are some interesting situations also in Spain and Germany. My partner and I met Milan at the end of the Winter window. They said they like him but that they were pursuing youngster profiles for their attack. That is where we left things off; we will see in the future.”

Milan are also interested in Toulouse’s attacker Amine Adli, who has just been named the best Ligue 2 player for this season. He has tallied 8 goals and 7 assists in 33 matches and can feature in a number of offensive positions. His club has put a €15M price tag on him, but he has just a year left on his contract. The Rossoneri face competition from Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Moenchengladbach, and Olympique Marseille, which were close to signing him in January.
