Juventus Keeping Tabs on Bayern Munich Midfielder on His Way Out

Corentin Tolisso is likely to leave Bayern Munich this summer, and Juventus are among the possible destinations. The Bianconeri are considering adding another midfielder on top of Manuel Locatelli. The Frenchman could move for €20M, L’Equipe reports.

The Bavarian powerhouse inserted Tolisso in the list of possible cuts. He made just 16 appearances last season due to a major tendon injury. While the Old Lady is unlikely to invest that much, the two sides have done some business in the past; therefore, they could arrange a less expensive formula.

Juventus have yet to reach an agreement with Sassuolo for Locatelli. They met Friday to discuss the deal again, but the positions are fairly distant, SportMediaset reports. The Neroverdi rejected the same type of operation used for Federico Chiesa. Director Federico Cherubini proposed a €5M two-year loan with a €30M option to buy triggered by feasible conditions. The Emilian club would rather get €40M right away but could settle for a one-year temporary spell with the obligation to permanently acquire the player.

Juventus remain confident despite Arsenal’s interest and higher offer as the Italian starlet is eager to join. He might not be the sole acquisition in the role, though. Arthur has undergone surgery to remove an ossification in his right leg and will miss 3 months. Besides Tolisso, the Bianconeri are monitoring Miralem Pjanic and Leandro Paredes. However, the rumored swap with Barcelona involving Aaron Ramsey is improbable. The Blaugrana are looking to shed salaries and are not keen on the Welshman, Fabrizio Romano informs.
