However, before all this even happened, in an unexpected turn of events, Milan received a loan request for the young 18-year-old striker. According to reports from TUTTOmercatoweb (via MilanNews), Sampdoria have already asked him on a loan transfer until the end of the season.
The Rossoneri are least interested to hear any offers for the striker who has not been officially announced by the club yet. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are adamant to see Lazetic grow into a Serie A powerhouse, just like the forward’s Serbian counterpart – Dusan Vlahovic. He will play an important part in the club’s attacking ranks and learn from Rossoneri veterans and serial winners Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Lazetic was signed by the Rossoneri for €4m plus €1m in bonuses, to directly replace outgoing loanee Pietro Pellegri, whose contract at AS Monaco was not extended – pushing him to move to Torino until the end of the season.
He was on the scouting books of Zenit St. Petersburg, Fiorentina and RB Salzburg for quite sometime.
Lazetic will remain on contract with Milan for five years. He will don his idol Ricardo Kaka’s number 22 jersey, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport.
