Juventus & Roma Thinking of Mega Swap Deal

Juventus and Roma could pull off a gigantic swap operation this summer involving as many as four players, two from each side. Calciomercato details how both sides contemplate a complex operation that would see both teams profit from each other’s castaways.
There’s no space for Federico Chiesa at Juventus anymore. New manager Thiago Motta has made that abundantly clear. Valued at €25 million, with a contract expiring next summer, the Italy international is ready to pack his bags and leave Turin after four years.
Roma coach Daniele De Rossi reached out to Chiesa toward the end of last week to convince him to trade Juventus for the Stadio Olimpico. At the same time, he’s looking to offload Tammy Abraham. The ex-Chelsea man has fallen out of favor in the capital.
While there’s no room for him in Rome, Juventus could offer him a fresh start. Abraham’s €25m price tag is identical to Chiesa’s. Therefore, the parties contemplate a like-for-like swap deal that would benefit all four parties. But there’s more.
Matias Soule impressed during his season-long loan at Frosinone last term. However, Juventus remain uncertain whether to give the youngster a shot at the Allianz Stadium. On the other hand, they must address the wide areas.
That’s where Roma’s Stephan El Shaarawy comes into the picture. Juventus see the ex-Milan winger as a potential low-cost signing. El Shaarawy’s deal runs out in 2025, with the Giallorossi valuing him at €7-8m.€7-8m.
The whole operation looks far-fetched but not impossible.

  1. Yes please, Chiesa and Soule would be great add Bellanova in the mix and would love this mercato

  2. Utter rubbish. Where’s the benefit for Juventus. Soule is worth $40M so this is not going to happen. Maybe Chiesa for Abraham but that’s it.

  3. It’s hard to believe Juve would agree to such unfavorable transfer. Not going to happen. In addition, Chiesa stated clearly that he’ll switch to a club playing in the UCL.
