Roma Plot to Foot Final Two Acquisitions with Abraham

If Roma sign Artem Dovbyk, and all indications are they will even though it could take some time, they’ll have spent over €100M this summer. They wouldn’t be done because they’ll search for a new right back and another striker afterward, Corriere dello Sport informed.

The Giallorossi intend to offset their final two acquisition with the sale of Tammy Abraham. They value him €25M, and he makes €6M per year. His departure would open up significant resources. Milan remain on his trail, but not at those conditions. The officials are hoping for some developments from the Premier League.

Roma have cashed in €12M from Houssem Aoaur and €5M from Belotti, plus the savings on their wages. Moreover, they pocketed €20M combined from the resale clauses of Davide Frattesi and Riccardo Calafiori.

After welcoming Samuel Dahl, they plan to go young on the right wing too. It’s currently a two-man race between Rennes’ Lorenz Assignon and Almeria’s Marc Pubill. They are both worth around €10M, but there’s competition. The Giallorossi also have some residual hope of landing Raoul Bellanova from Torino, possibly using Nicola Zalewski as a makeweight. Edoardo Bove is also expendable at the right price.

Our Take on Roma

Some departures wouldn’t hurt, but unlike other sides, the lack of those hasn’t affected their plans in the other direction. They have pretty much captured all their top targets, and, even though coming to terms with Torino after they already lost Alessandro Buongiorno looks challenging, it wouldn’t be stunning if they purchased Bellanova too.
