Juventus completed a sensational come-from-behind victory at the expense of RB Leipzig to maintain a perfect record in the Champions League. Benjamin Sesko gave the German side the lead in the first half much to the delight of the home supporters at the Red Bull Arena. Dusan Vlahovic replied for the visitors, but Sesko restored the hosts’ lead from the spot. But despite their numerical disadvantage, the Bianconeri still pulled off an astonishing comeback thanks to a brilliant long-range strike from Vlahovic and an astounding solo effort from Francisco Conceicao. The former Monza man was left with no chance on the opener. He was unfortunate to touch the ball with his hand while rushing off his line, leaving his side with a man down.

The Juventus captain only lasted for five minutes before sustaining a knock and leaving his place on the pitch for Gatti along with the armband.

The Italy international was always going to lose the physical duel against Sesko in the lead-up to the first goal. He also had some blunders at the back. On the other hand, he delivered the assist for Vlahovic’s first goal and made a brilliant interception.

A generous outing from the American who was everywhere on the pitch. He made an inch-perfect tackle to win back the ball which culminated in the winner.

A formidable display in the middle of the park from the Italian who was pulling the strings for Juventus while showcasing his dribbling and passing skills.

A few minutes following Bremer’s exit, Juventus were dealt with another blow, as the Argentine left the field with what seemed to be a muscular problem.

He dribbled past his markers before drilling the ball past the goalkeeper to complete a historic comeback. Also instigated Vlahovic’s first goal.

The shot-stopper conceded from the spot upon his introduction, but was always well-positioned to produce routine saves and maintain the Old Lady’s lead.
Douglas Luiz – 4
The Brazilian gave away a spot kick seconds following his introduction while protecting his face with his hand, and his cameo never got off the ground. Gave the ball away cheaply and wasn’t on song with his teammates.
