Napoli are pondering whether to bolster their defense either in January or next summer and have set sights on Stefan De Vrij, who might leave Inter on a free. According to Radio Kiss Kiss (via Tuttomercatoweb), the Azzurri are set to evaluate a pair of free agents in January: Simon Kjaer and Sergio Ramos. If they don’t suffer big injuries, they could go in that direction to add some experience for cheap.
In addition to De Vrij, who won’t transfer during the winter, Napoli are keeping tabs on two previous targets, Radu Dragusin and Jakub Kiwior, who aren’t playing much at Tottenham and Arsenal. They could pounce on them if there was an opportunity to nab them at a discounted price.
The contract of the Dutchman runs out in June. Inter are signaling that they could go younger at the position, keeping just one between him and Francesco Acerbi.
