Aaron Ramsey Clamoring for More Playing Time at Juventus

Aaron Ramsey has logged more minutes with Wales than with Juventus this season. He recently bagged a brace against Belarus, reaching the 20-goal threshold with his national team. In a presser, the midfielder said that he would like to be given the same opportunity at his club.

“I want to play more. I do not care about what they write or say about me. It is important to me to be on the pitch, either with Wales or Juventus, and I just want to do it as much as possible. I still feel capable of providing great performances. I hope to keep going for a long time. That is my only thought.”

Ramsey has featured in just over 100 minutes with the Bianconeri in the 2021-2022 campaign, also due to a few nagging injuries. Instead, he has played twice as much with the Dragons, scoring three times and providing one assist.

Given his hefty salary, Juventus have been looking to offload him for a while. The executives will try again in January. Newcastle have shown timid interest, but it remains to be seen whether Ramsey would accept the destination. His agents have a vested interest in keeping him in Turin since they would cash in on further bonuses, as they have done in every window so far, thanks to the agreement stipulated with the club when the midfielder joined. New reports even suggest that a year would be added to his deal if he did not leave in the winter, but they are unconfirmed.
