Milan Weighing Up Summer Move for Andrej Kramaric

Milan want to take transfer action this summer as Stefano Pioli looks to bolster each department in the upcoming transfer window. As reported by Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are evaluating the prospect of signing TSG Hoffenheim stalwart Andrej Kramaric to reinforce the attack.

Although Zlatan Ibrahimovic extended his contract at the San Siro for another season only two days ago, the Serie A giants are on the lookout for a new striker. The Swede will be 40 next season, and his game time will require careful management.

With Milan marching towards Champions League promotion, Paolo Maldini is scouring the market for potential values. Kramaric, who has been an omnipresent figure for Hoffenheim over the past five years, has emerged as a viable solution.

The 29-year-old forward approaches the final year of his contract at Rhein-Neckar-Arena and could be available this summer for approximately €15-20million.

Kramaric was on Milan’s radar in the past, but a lack of funds prevented the Italians from completing the move. Things would change dramatically at the end of the season if the Lombardian giants secure a top-four finish in Serie A.

However, the Rossoneri will face stiff competition for the Croatia international’s services. Juventus, Roma, and Inter Milan are also in the race for the striker’s signature, per the same source.

Kramaric has been Hoffenheim’s standout performer this season, notching up 21 goals and providing four assists in 30 appearances in all competitions.

But the former Leicester City flop has experienced a dip in form in the second half of the season, with Die Kraichgauer now open to selling their prized possession.
