Achraf Hakimi Linked to European Powerhouses as Inter Mull Departures

Inter plan to make a significant profit in the next transfer market window and that will inevitably go through the sale of one of their stars. While there are no untouchable players, the management would like to limit the loss to only one of their top contributors, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Achraf Hakimi is their most coveted asset at this stage. The Nerazzurri have already received €50M offers from PSG and Bayern Munich. The sum could go up by arranging a swap with Leandro Paredes with the French club. However, the Moroccan wing-back was acquired from Real Madrid for €40M last year, so the earnings would not be very substantial. Romelu Lukaku is in a similar spot as he was purchased for €75M. It would take a mammoth €120M bid to meet the strategy of the front office.

On the other hand, they would cash in a full plusvalenza with the likes of Stefan De Vrij, Milan Skriniar, and Lautaro Martinez. Mino Raiola has already started proposing the Dutch defender, who joined for free from Lazio three years ago, to multiple teams. The Slovakian center-back was signed for €34M from Sampdoria in 2017. He is being targeted by Roma, as José Mourinho already tried to buy him when he was at Tottenham.

Lautaro Martinez committed to Inter before Antonio Conte’s farewell, but his permanence will not be certain until he will ink the extension. Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolò Barella are in high demand, but it would take very rich offers to lure them away as they are seen as cornerstones for the future.
