Pablo Bentancur represents multiple Uruguayan players who are among the protagonists of the ongoing transfer market window. The agent addressed the rumors about his client to Sport890 (via Tuttomercatoweb).
“I am a partner of the son of Monza’s CEO Adriano Galliani. They are led by experienced people that know football and built one of the strongest squads in the world in the past. If they wanted to sign one among Luis Suarez or Edinson Cavani, or some other high-profile striker, I think they will manage to do it.”
Bentancur stated that Napoli are pursuing Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez.
“I believe he will transfer late in the summer. The teams are cash-strapped especially in Europe. For instance, Juventus have signed just free agents. He had an unlucky season due to injuries, but he is fit now. The Partenopei have shown the most interest so far.”
Lucas Torreira has been linked to Roma and Juventus, but he is closer to another side.
