Napoli and Sampdoria are one step away from completing the trade between Bartosz Bereszynski and Alessandro Zanoli. Transfer market operator Federico Pastorello discussed it to Tuttomercatoweb.
“He’s represented by Fabryka Futbolu, his Polish agency, and we are partnering with them. The deal was born in Turkey. I spent a couple of days there with the Azzurri, and they were serene and relaxed. I had a long talk with Luciano Spalletti. It emerged that they wished to improve their alternatives, while we wanted Zanoli to play more. That’s how the idea came to be, I headed home and worked on it.”

He was great in the World Cup and proved his worth and character against France. I think he can be a perfect addition to an already flawless team to give the coach another option. It’d be a smart signing to improve a squad that it’s easier to ruin than it is to better.”
Both fullbacks are currently scheduled to transfer on loan, but the formula might change.
“We are discussing the insertion of an option to buy. I think he could easily spend four or five years in a side like the Partenopei considering his traits, moral qualities, and professionality. He’d surely transfer there with the desire to provide his contribution and try convincing the club and the gaffer to confirm him.”
Spalletti alluded to Napoli onboarding Bereszynski after the friendly versus Villarreal (via SportMediaset).
