Inter look to be well on course for the signature of Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana for free next summer.
According to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato), the player’s agent is expected to be in Milan next month to meet the club’s officials regarding a transfer.
Onana, who is currently valued at €17m according to Transfermarkt, is back in action for Ajax after the end of his nine-month ban due to a doping violation. He was on the bench for the Dutch team’s last two league fixtures but is yet to play for them this season.
Samir Handanovic has cemented his status as an Inter legend but given that he is in the twilight of his career, Inter will need a change between the sticks.
Onana has done pretty well for Ajax over the past few years and despite being out for a while, there is still a very good chance that he will do well at Inter if he joins them.
