Jorginho is open to returning to Serie A down the line. He and Arsenal will revisit his situation in 2024. His agent Joao Santos spoke about the midfielder and Napoli newcomer Natan to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“He’ll stay put this year, then we don’t know what could happen in the future. He’s focused on playing two important competitions like the Premier and the Champions League with the Gunners.”
Jorginho wasn’t called up by Luciano Spalletti.
“His traits are unique and useful to any team in the world. When the coach will needs them, he’ll select him. He’ll always carry Italy in his heart, so never say never. If a Serie A side looks for him and his skill set, we’ll discuss it. Juventus? You can’t rule out any outfit in today’s football. We’ll talk with everybody seeking a player with his characteristics.”
On top of dishing on Jorginho, Joao Santos addressed Natan, who has yet to get on the pitch with Napoli.
“He’s a strong player and displayed great potential in Brazil. Aurelio De Laurentiis is always capable in finding youngsters with upside. I think he’ll do very well with the Partenopei. In my opinion, he’s similar to Thiago Silva considering his playing style.”
The Scudetto holders invested €10M to snap up the defender from RB Bragantino this summer.
