Alejandro Camano, the agent of Lautaro Martinez, was optimistic about coming to terms with Inter on a long-term contract that could perhaps tie the Argentine down for the rest of his career but also talked about potential offers in an interview with TVPlay.
“It’s very important to me and him that the club is willing to hear us out on a new extension even though his deal already lasts until 2026. I want to thank the brass for this possibility. It’s meaningful that there’s a chance he could stay at Inter for life.”
Despite that, Camano didn’t shut the door on assessing future bids for Lautaro Martinez.
“We’ll see whether there’ll be a good moment for another opportunity for the player and the finances of the team. He’s correct and has the honor of representing an entity like Inter. I think he’s extremely happy right now.”
“He’s aware that the relationship with the Nerazzurri, the management, and Italy is an essential part of his life. That situation is very serene now. He identifies himself with those colors. Inter and Milan brought him tranquility and happiness. Lautaro Martinez wants to continue pleasing the fans and is satisfied with being the captain.”
Camano stated that Achraf Hakimi wouldn’t come back.
“He made a lot of people happy at Inter, but I think it’s a closed chapter. PSG are evaluating the possibility of keeping him for a long time.”
