Branislav Jarusek, who represents Stanislav Lobotka, suggested his client would be happy to move to Barcelona but added that the transfer wasn’t in the works at this stage. Instead, the midfielder received a proposal from Saudi Arabia last summer (via Tuttomercatoweb).
“We met with the management to discuss an offer. They were promising a lot of money, but director Maurizio Micheli told them off and refused to negotiate. The same thing happened with Victor Osimhen. Moving to the Saudi Pro League would have changed Stani’s life economically, but he wanted to play in the Champions League.”
Jarusek revealed that Barcelona did some legwork on Lobotka.
