Khvicha Kvaratskhelia hasn’t hit it off right away with new coach Francesco Calzona. Other than a gem against Verona, his recent performances have been nothing to write home about. The statements by his agent aren’t helping him find the serenity he’d perhaps need to return to high levels, Corriere dello Sport informed.
Mamuka Jugeli spoke with Championst and was quizzed about a potential move to Barcelona or PSG.
“Naturally, Khvicha has offers from the best teams in the world. Just look at him; how could he not receive this kind of proposals? Everything will be clearer in May.”
Kvaratskhelia has scored just six goals and provided five assists this campaign. He hasn’t in delivered in the Champions League after being named the best youngster in the past campaign.
The Georgian is due for a new contract as he’s still on his original one. Team president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently stated that there were no particular problems with his camp and that the talks were simply postponed to the end of the season.

His agent is doing his job, as he’s definitely deserving to improve the terms of his deal. It should have actually happened before the start of the season already. On the other end, the fact that he hasn’t been able to lift himself from their morass only temper his requests. It’ll be particularly challenging to find common ground while Victor Osimhen and his massive salary are still in town.
