Agent Reassures About Lautaro Martinez and Hakimi’s Future at Inter

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez recently changed his agent while the negotiation for his new contract was ongoing. He is now represented by Martin Camaro, who also assists Achraf Hakimi. The forward is currently tied to the club until 2023 with a low salary given his level of performance. The switch is not expected to alter the positive outcome of the talks.

Camaro spoke to Sky Sport: “We entered his life only recently, and we have nothing new to report on the extension front for now. They are focused on winning the title since they have not done it in a few years. He is concentrated on that too. When the season is over, we will sit down to discuss taking into account the global situation, which is very complicated because of the pandemic. We will see what will happen.”

“His relationship with Antonio Conte is spectacular. He is faring extraordinarily well with the help of the staff and the other players, we are on excellent terms with Inter. They gave him the opportunity to make the jump to Europe, and he is very grateful for that. It is never easy to do no matter how good you are.” Martinez has been linked to Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester City in the past, but not recently.

He also weighed in on Hakimi: “His future is at Inter. He has just arrived, it has not even been a full season. He picked them over several other teams because he knew Conte would have been the best choice for him. The coach develops the youngsters very well and brings the best out of them. He is happy in Milan.”
