Ajax Hand Juventus Talent Redemption Chance After Sampdoria Spell

Juventus are close to revamping the distraught career of one of their star buys of the previous transfer window – Mohamed Ihattaren – who arrived in Turin on the back of lot of expectations. He was immediately loaned out to Sampdoria, but rather failed in settling down in Italy due to his personal problems.

The former PSV Eindhoven talent has reportedly been handed a new lease of life back in his home country, albeit with a different team. Juventus have offloaded Ihattaren to Dutch giants Ajax on an initial 18-month loan deal with an option to buy.

The transfer allows the 19-year-old to reignite his career after a failed move to Genoa with the Doria. He described his time there as a ‘nightmare’ to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf in a recent interview, where he also mentioned that Sampdoria did not respect any agreements they had in place.

With Juventus and Ajax already said to have reached full agreement regarding the loan transfer, the only thing that remains to be concluded is Ihattaren’s own personal terms.

The Dutch youngster has reportedly been suffering from personal problems since the death of his father two years ago. He even went AWOL few months ago, but has now resurfaced with a chance to revitalize his young career at the top level.
