Al-Hilal to Target Roma’s Mourinho with Lucrative Deal

The Jose Mourinho saga is still in the works, with Roma still undecided on the manager’s future at the club. Taking advantage of the uncertainty, several sides, including Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil have evaluated the Special One’s availability.

However, according to Footmercato, Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal are determined to sign the ex-Chelsea and Inter manager after missing out on the signature of Lionel Messi, who moved to Inter Miami instead. Mourinho is reportedly the prime managerial candidate to lead Al-Hilal’s dugout, with club owner Walid Moaz scheduling a meeting with the Portuguese tactician in London next week.

A lucrative financial package is expected to be tabled for Mourinho, who still has one more year left on his Giallorossi contract. The Saudi Arabian club could also be targeting Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar, thus aiming to conclude a double bumper deal by the end of the month.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly also drawn interest from Al-Hilal.

It remains to be seen if the UEFA Europa League defeat against Sevilla was Mourinho’s final game for the Giallorossi. Roma are set to kick off their pre-season against Tottenham Hotspur on July 26.
