Coach Massimiliano Allegri wants his side to handle the Salernitana match differently from other games against minnows: “It is a complicated fixture because the negative factors are piling up and put pressure. Either I do not understand much, or there are some prejudices. At this moment, we need Giorgio Chiellini’s experience and the freshness of the youngsters.”
Allegri rejected the notion of a transitional season: “That is not a thing at Juventus. We need to be aware of our position and the team we play for. We made it to the knockout stage of Champions League. I think we will get out of this moment. But we need to be calm; otherwise, we continue to make a mess. We have to start from the simple things, and then the rest will be a direct consequence.”
