The Juventus hunt for Dusan Vlahovic’s deputy seems never-ending as the Bianconeri part ways with a number of forwards, including Federico Bernardeschi and Paulo Dybala, and potentially even Alvaro Morata and Moise Kean, and youngster Giacomo Vrioni has become a real candidate. Kaio Jorge and Federico Chiesa are currently on the mend with major injuries.
However, La Vecchia Signora have an ace card up their sleeve in form of the loanee who ended up being Austria Bundesliga’s top scorer the past season, alongside Borussia Dortmund-bound prodigy Karim Adeyemi – with 19 goals.
Albanian channel Supersport (via Corriere dello Sport) reports of coach Massimiliano Allegri evaluating his options at hand instead of looking elsewhere, and this brings Italian-born striker Vrioni into the spotlight to add depth to the Juventus frontline. The center-forward returns back to the club after a successful loan spell at WSG Tirol.

Originally a Sampdoria youth product, Vrioni scored 21 goals in 31 appearances for the Austrians during the course of last campaign – his breakthrough season – that has garnered the attention of a few clubs, on top of Allegri. The Blucerchiati are interested in reuniting with him as well.
Despite the interest from the Genoa side, the coach wants to take his time and evaluate the possibility of making him a first-teamer in Turin. The Bianconeri’s pre-season tour in the United States will serve as a great platform for Vrioni to prove his mettle amid heightened interest.
The two-time European champions value the 23-year-old around the €10M mark, but it is unlikely they will entertain any direct offers. German outlet Kicker links a host of clubs across Europe for the forward, including Getafe, Anderlecht, Groningen, and Besiktas. According to the reports, Vrioni might leave Juventus this summer once again for playing opportunities. However, that could all change if Allegri decides to make the youngster Vlahovic’s deputy.
