Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved spoke with Sky Sport where he talked about the situation surrounding coach Max Allegri. Interestingly, the former Bianconeri midfielder said that Allegri has never been doubted.

“We are doing everything, both the club, the coach and the players, to settle down and play Juve games that allow us to pass the round and recover in the league. That is our goal.”

“The coach has never been in doubt, not even for a minute. There have been very few training sessions and therefore it is difficult to understand the state of form of the team, I am confident because I have seen the boys returned from the national teams with the look right and we saw against Bologna.”

Reports claimed that Nedved wanted to get rid of Allegri before the recent international break. The club’s president Andrea Agnelli was firmly against letting the 55-year-old go.

Juventus has won both of their matches since returning from the International break. A victory versus Bologna on the weekend followed before their Champions League success on Wednesday night against Maccabi Haifa.
