Amrabat the Subject of Loan Talk as Deadline Day Nears

While Sofyan Amrabat has given his yes to Manchester United, the Premier League giants themselves are in a hunch with regards to a concrete bid, which could very well arrive on deadline day. Several sides, including Liverpool, Al-Ahli, and Napoli, have expressed interest in the Fiorentina ace, but the emergence of two other suitors is expected to shake things up.

As per latest information from transfer market expert Nicolò Schira, Amrabat is the subject of great interest from Atletico Madrid, who have offered a loan with the option to buy him at the end of the season. Amrabat is ready to leave the club, with Manchester United still the favorites to grab him on an outright transfer rather than a loan.

However, as things stand, a loan deal looks seemingly realistic for Amrabat, with Juventus also in the same boat as Atleti, according to La Nazione (via Calciomercato). The Bianconeri have been monitoring the Moroccan international sternly for months now and view him as a midfielder capable of leading the line alongside Manuel Locatelli. Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna plan to coup Amrabat as well before the transfer window shuts close.

Difficulties encountered in meeting a straightforward buyer for the Viola midfielder has reportedly changed Joe Barone and Rocco Commisso’s respective stances towards the Amrabat saga. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina have refused all offers so far, including a new one from Manchester United and another from Galatasaray.
