Andre Silva on Lazio List as Summer Plans Continue

Just days after reportedly striking a deal with Wilfried Zaha, Lazio are ready to onboard another striker in Andre Silva. The RB Leipzig forward has failed to reach the heights he did at Eintracht Frankfurt, and could soon return back to Italy, where he starred at Milan for almost two full seasons.

Latest developments from Sky Italia indicate that the potential acquisition of Silva on a permanent transfer is currently being evaluated by chief Claudio Lotito. Leipzig are reportedly ready to part ways with the Portuguese striker, who has fallen out of the spotlight in recent years.

Leipzig are asking €15-20M for Silva’s services, with Lazio deeming it an excessive price tag for a striker who scored just 9 goals in 44 appearances for the east German club last season.

Silva experienced a rather quiet stint with the Rossoneri, racking 10 goals in 41 caps for the club. However, he may get a shot at reviving his career back in Italy, as Lazio prepare to aim for big campaigns next season, including in the UEFA Champions League.
