Antonio Conte and Tottenham Ready to Ambush Serie A with Transfer Demands

Tottenham Hotspur have certainly taken a bold step on the managerial front by appointing Antonio Conte, as the fifth coach to take charge of proceedings in the last two years.

The Juventus legend has reportedly already given a list of high profile names to sporting director Fabio Paratici, in order to begin an assault as early as January’s winter transfer window.

Having won the Serie A last season with Inter, Conte arrives to London on the back of breaking his former club Juventus’ decade long dominance in Italy. His arrival has brought about a lot of optimism for struggling Spurs and the club may witness the onboarding of a couple of Serie A stars in the upcoming windows.

According to reports from TUTTOmercatoweb, Conte is keen on his former guardian in defence, Milan Skriniar, who is yet to renew a contract at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The Slovakian ace runs out of contract with Inter in June 2023, opening up a window for Tottenham to pounce on his signature. He has a transfermarkt value of €60m.

Another name mentioned is Serbian star marksman Dusan Vlahovic, who only just rejected a bumper contract renewal offer by Fiorentina. With repeated interest from the Premier League and Serie A clubs, including from heavyweights Juventus, Manchester City and Arsenal, Vlahovic’s stance for a prospective transfer remains unknown.

One thing is for sure, he will not come cheap, as La Viola expect nothing under the €70m mark for his transfer.
