Arthur addressed his start at Fiorentina and didn’t rule out a potential return to Juventus following the loan spell in an interview with AS (via TuttoSport).
“I’ve been comfortable since day one here. I spoke with Vincenzo Italiano before joining. He told me how he wanted the team to play, and he was correct. Everything’s peachy. The secret lies in the preparation. I had difficult moments, but I kept working, and now it’s time for the nice part. I was in a very good shape mentally and physically the season started. The adaptation was quick. I’m happy with where I am now. I’ve never felt this good before.”
Arthur detailed why he picked Fiorentina.
“The truth is that I decided after talking with the coach. I realized I had to come here after what he said. I saw some of their matches last season. It was a good choice.”
Arthur is under contract with Juventus for a few more years.
“I’m focused on the Viola now, but I don’t forget that. I’m their player, and I have enormous respect for them. We’ve always had a good relationship. I wish to do well this year, and then we’ll see what happens. My goals are to play regularly and be called up by Brazil again. I’ve reached a good level, but I can still improve.”
