Atalanta are reportedly interested in signing Catania striker Luca Moro.
According to TuttoC (via Calciomercato.com), La Dea are among the teams keen on roping in the striker who plays for the Serie C side on loan from Padova. The club has excellent relations with Moro’s agent Beppe Riso. There are a number of clubs who are interested in the 20-year-old’s signature, particularly Monza who have shown interest in him for a while.
Moro has done pretty well for Catania this season so far, scoring 16 goals in 13 Serie C matches. Hence, it’s no surprise that there are clubs keen on signing him. Atalanta already have a number of good attackers in their squad, so it would be almost impossible for Moro to get playing time there.
Hence, if La Dea sign the 20-year-old, there is every chance of him being loaned out to another club. In terms of reputation, Atalanta is the place to be compared to others. However, from a game time perspective, Monza looks a better option for Moro.
