Atalanta have Alessandro Buongiorno atop their wish list to bolster the defense. He’s not for sale in Torino’s mind, but some makeweights might allow the deal to go through.
According to DAZN’s Orazio Accomando, on top of Aleksej Miranchuk, the Granata have shown interest in Duvan Zapata. The Colombian striker was showered with praise by Gian Piero Gasperini after his move to Roma collapsed. He has so far been able to hold off the competition from newcomer Gianluca Scamacca and scored a gem against Frosinone. He has two years on his contract.
Atalanta are targeting Buongiorno also to interfere with Torino’s pursuit of Isak Hien. Despite the links to Inter, the Granata will be able to hold onto Perr Schuurs, who’s considered the top fallback plan if Benjamin Pavard doesn’t join, but it appears that such a purchase will indeed happen.
While it’ll be tough to strike a deal for the budding center-back, Brandon Soppy seems to have finally decided to switch sides. His temporary departure will unlock Emil Holm’s arrival in Bergamo on a €2.5M plus a €8.5M option to buy from Spezia, Sky relays.

Their interest is understandable, but it’s unclear why they aren’t going after Hien more vigorously. The two are on a similar level, but the Verona defender is more reachable.
