Atalanta have reportedly inquired Chelsea regarding the availability of Italian full back David Zappacosta, who recently ended his loan term at Genoa. Before the 2020/21 season, Zappacosta played for Roma for a single season. The right back is on Atalanta’s book as the Bergamo club look to make some major changes ahead of the new season.
The 29-year-old is being eyed for a permanent transfer and his market value lies around the €10m mark – according to transfermarkt. He has just one more left on his Chelsea contract, which makes any further loan moves improbable.
