Atalanta are reportedly interested in signing Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga in January.
According to Calciomercato.com, La Dea want to sign an attacker in the upcoming transfer window and the 24-year-old is their prime target.
Boga, who is currently valued at €20m according to Transfermarkt, has made 97 appearances across all competitions for Sassuolo since joining them from Chelsea. So far, the Ivorian international has scored 18 goals while providing ten assists.
This season, Boga has made only eight appearances for the Neroverdi due to an injury. While the 24-year-old is yet to find the net, he has provided three assists so far.
Boga has been linked to an exit from Sassuolo for some time now and a move to Atalanta would certainly be a step up for him. Provided he does join La Dea, it would be quite challenging for him to get a place in the club’s playing XI given the amount of attacking quality they possess.
