Romelu Lukaku’s potential transfer to Chelsea has expectedly set about a domino effect in Serie A. The Nerazzurri are eyeing his replacement with several names in their books, including Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata. This has prompted Atalanta to make a move themselves – having heavily been linked with Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.
However, another prospect has been proposed for a move to Bergamo. Luis Muriel may be partnered with Torino centre-forward Andrea Belotti, after the Italian repeatedly rejected contract renewal offers from the club.
Torino are reportedly eager to cash in the services of the 27-year-old striker rather than lose him for free next year. Any offers around the €25-30m range will be heard from the Granata. He has a market value of €35m, according to transfermarkt.
Roma are another club in contention for Belotti, as Edin Dzeko’s future with the Giallorossi is up in thin air. The Bosnian has also been linked with a move to Inter.
