Liverpool have reportedly laid their eyes on Teun Koopmeiners, but Atalanta have no intention of letting him go in January. Rumors from England suggest the Reds are keen on the player and have gotten in touch with his entourage.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, La Dea fully plans to keep ahold of him in the current window. The Dutchman has been one of their main linchpins. He has logged 4 goals and 2 assists in 16 seasonal appearances. They acquired him for €14M from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2021. He won over Gian Piero Gasperini pretty quickly, eventually leading to the departure of Remo Freuler.
Per Bergamo News, the deal would be more feasible in the summer, but Liverpool would have to lodge an irresistible offer to convince Atalanta to sell Koopmeiners. The Reds were one of the sides they competed with to acquire him two summers ago.
