After three exciting seasons at Napoli, Fabian Ruiz could be set to play his final match for the club on Sunday, as Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all reportedly interested in his signature.
According to la Gazzetta dello Sport, all three Spanish giants are hoping to bring the playmaker back to his home country.
The 25-year-old started his career at Real Betis, before sealing a transfer to southern Italy in the summer of 2018.
Since then, the midfielder has been developing into one of the best players in his position. Initially an attacking midfielder, he has adapted into the deeper regista role under the guidance of Gennaro Gattuso.
Whilst his performances at the beginning of the season were a subject of criticism by some of the Partenopei fans, the Spaniard has been delivering the goods in the recent months, helping his side in entering the Top 4 positions in the Serie A table.
Therefore, Gattuso’s men are just one win away from sealing their spot within the next edition of the Champions League, and they will be expected to complete the job when they host Hellas Verona at the Stadio Maradona.
