Baldanzi Reveals Uncertainty Surrounding Empoli Future

Empoli trequartista Tommaso Baldanzi does not know what the future holds for him. Having been linked to a host of top clubs, Baldanzi is still in the dark regarding his future, with Milan and Napoli the two Italian club reportedly vying for his signature.

However, Baldanzi, who recently came second with the Azzurri youth at the U20 World Cup in Argentina, has revealed he ‘does not know’ what the future entails.

“I don’t know. Now I’ll take a break this month to start again, then I’ll think about everything else. Serie A gives you a lot of experience, I thank Empoli who have made me live this season and thirteen fantastic years.” (via FCInterNews)

Baldanzi graduated from Empoli’s youth system, being promoted to the first team in 2020 when the Gli Azzurri were still in Serie B. However, the Poggibonsi-born playmaker’s breakthrough season arrived in 2022/23, as he racked up 4 goals in 27 appearances.

Any interested suitors would be required to shell at least €15-20M for Baldanzi.
