Barcelona and Tottenham Join Race for Inter Target

Inter target Andre Onana, who only just returned to training after a lengthy ban for ingesting a doping substance, is close to moving to the Italian giants, but most recent reports from Spain and Italy suggest that the Nerazzurri aren’t the only ones in pursuit of his services.

The Ajax shot stopper is bound to move away from Amsterdam, given his contract that expires at the end of the current season and no room for his renewal at the Dutch club.

According to Calciomercato, Inter will face keen competition from Barcelona, who join the race for the goalkeeper’s signature due to new coach Xavi being a great admirer of the Cameroonian.

However, the Spanish giants aren’t the only ones – with Tottenham also looking to bolster their ranks by signing Hugo Lloris’ successor. Similar to Xavi, Antonio Conte has long been a fan of the 25-year-old, accordign to 90min.

Onana is a product of Barcelona’s world-famous youth academy La Masia, having graduated from the academy’s ranks in 2015. He started his career at the Samuel Eto’o Foundation.
