Agent of Inter Star Has Worrying Remarks About New Deal

Tullio Tinti, the agent of Alessandro Bastoni, threw a damper on the optimism surrounding the renewal of Alessandro Bastoni. The contract of the defender is up in 2024. Despite his intention to stay put, the parties will need to negotiate hard to come to an understanding.

The representative spoke with Tuttomercaweb Radio.

“I’ve never personally caused a player to leave on a free, clubs did. It takes two to strike an agreement. It’s publicized when a footballer asks to wait when he has a year on his deal, instead it’s seen as normal when it depends on the team. Maybe sometimes they don’t put pen to paper because it took too much time, or due to the fact the the side had no interest doing so. I don’t there are problems when everybody behaves correctly.”

According to the publication, the agent was referring more to different situations rather than Bastoni and Inter, although the parties are distant on his personal terms. However, they concur they shouldn’t get too close to the expiration date of this contract.

The center-back hasn’t changed his mind but wants his worth to be adequately recognized. PSG, Manchester City, and even Juventus are keeping tabs on the negotiation, hoping the Nerazzurri and the center-back don’t come to terms before the summer. A sale could become a topic of conversation at that point.

Our Take on Bastoni and Inter

He has been in his exact situation before, or way closer to leaving, but he obviously always stayed and often quickly quelled the rumors by professing his loyalty. The agent is doing his job, but the likelihood of a departure is small.
