Bayern Munich and Milan Join Fray to Sign Dragusin

Tottenham have countered the recent offer by Napoli for Dragusin and have recaptured the lead to land the Romanian defender. However, Bayern Munich have come into the picture as well, and Milan showed interest too, Gianluca Di Marzio informs.

The Spurs have upped their bid, but there’s still some gap compared to their request. The Rossoneri have probed whether they could insert Lorenzo Colombo in the deal but didn’t lodge a bid.

Per Sky, Genoa are currently asking for €30M for Dragusin, while Tottenham proposed €25M plus add-ons, and Napoli concocted a package including two players. They put on the table €20M plus Leo Ostigard and Alessandro Zanoli; or €20M, the center-back, and the loan of the Italian youngster. The Bavarians’ bid is in the same ballpark as the Lilywhites’ one.

The Rossoblù’s president Alberto Zangrillo commented before their recent game.

“We are a great club and are behaving as such. He’s a great player and guy who managed to play at high levels thanks to this team. We won’t let anybody twist our arms. We don’t need to sell but must behave in a healthy way respecting our people.”

Our Take on the Dragusin Saga

The result will simply come down to who offers the most, and the two Serie A sides aren’t the favorites. Still, the Azzurri aren’t messing around. Their proposal would spare the Grifone the trouble of looking for a replacement and allow them to upgrade in another position.
