Bayern to Challenge Milan for Ajax Talent Amid Inter Wingback Links

Earlier reports indiated that Milan joined the race with Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona to sign soon-to-be free agent Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax in the summer. However, another European giant are in the fray for not only the Milan target, but also an Inter defender, who just moved to the Giuseppe Meazza at the start of the season.

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in the Moroccan-Dutch fullback, who runs out of contract at the end of the season, according to German news outlet BILD (via Tuttosport). Mazraoui is expected to decide on his uncertain future in the coming months, as he ponders about his professional life away from the Dutch giants.

However, he is not the only Dutch player in the sights on the Bavarian giants, as they also eye Nerazzurri wingback Denzel Dumfries. Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann is keen on bolstering his right wing and a fullback is said to be the need of the hour at Munich.

Dumfries will arrive or nothing less than €50m, as opposed to the transfer fee Inter paid to get him from PSV Eindhoven. This makes a move for Mazraoui rather much simpler for any team looking for a wingback, let alone Bayern.

Milan and Barcelona are firm suitors for the Ajax youth product, but Bayern’s presence could shake things up.
