Bisseck Arrives in Italy to Finalize Transfer to Inter

Yann Aurel Bisseck landed in Italy Monday to take the medicals for Inter shortly after the conclusion of the U-21 European Championship. He has already signed a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri. He briefly talked to Sky at the airport.

“I’m happy to be here, and I’m ready for this challenge.”

While Bisseck has reached the city, the negotiation between Inter and Aarhus isn’t fully complete yet. His price tag will be €7M, the amount of his release clause. Before activating it, the Nerazzurri will probe whether they can pay the sum in more installments rather than just two or throw in some bonuses.

If no agreement is found within the next couple of days, La Beneamata will go ahead and trigger it and then proceed with the physical tests and the announcement. The defender debuted in Bundesliga at 16 years old but had to leave his home country to really find his footing. He managed to achieve that with Aarhus in Denmark. He logged 35 appearances and scored 5 times in 2022/2023.

Our Take on Inter and Bisseck

Technicalities aside, it’s a nice purchase considering the cheap fee and the high upside. All eyes are now on the second man for the position. It’d be better for them to sign somebody more reliable and less mercurial than Merih Demiral.
