Bologna Rebuff Juventus Advances for Austrian Marksman

Massimiliano Allegri indicated Marko Arnautovic as an ideal deputy for Dusan Vlahovic, but Bologna do not want to sell him, to Juventus or any other side. The two clubs have been in touch for the likely loan of Andrea Cambiaso, but they did not discuss the striker, Corriere dello Sport relays.

His entourage pursued such transfer at the start of the window. On the other hand, the Felsinei never took into consideration partying ways him. Sinisa Mihajlovic was instrumental in signing the striker and desperately wants to hold onto him. CEO Claudio Fenucci stated:

“He is untouchable and nobody will be able to lure him away from us. They do not even have to ask because they are well-aware of our answer.”

The Austrian striker has two more years on his contract, with an option. While Arnautovic may not be a viable objective, Juventus are indeed seeking for somebody that could take care of the role. It could be a familiar face as they have not ceased trying to bring back Alvaro Morata, Sky Sport informs.

The Spaniard is back at Atletico Madrid following a two-year loan spell. The Bianconeri refused to activate their €35M option to buy. However, there have been new contacts between the parties in the last few days. The brass of the Old Lady reportedly has him the top choice.

Our Take on Juventus Likely Not Signing Arnautovic

The Bianconeri do need somebody, but the position is probably at the bottom of their priorities, also considering that Moise Kean is still in town, although he is probably not long for the job. In any case, they would be better off going after somebody that could play next to Vlahovic, and preferably on the left wing too, and not just back him up.
