Ibrahimovic has played so little that he doesn’t really need a substitute. They’d better use their budget on an elite young striker that would serve as a workhorse, allowing Olivier Giroud to transition to a more suitable part-time role. This purchase wouldn’t prevent them from adding a starlet, but it would make it a little challenging for the coach to give proper minutes to three different options considering their usual scheme.
