With the winter transfer window only a few months away, Bologna are already making plans to bring in young talent, building upon their exploits over the summer. And yet another talent in Kosovo international Ermal Krasniqi is now on the Rossoblù radar, with agent Victor Becali previously hinting at a possible deal with Lazio.
As per TuttoBolognaweb, the 25-year-old CFR Cluj winger has been tracked diligently by Bologna since last season. Club executives Giovanni Sartori and Marco Di Vaio have both actively expressed interest in the player, with Krasniqi particularly lauded for his goalscoring exploits as a natural winger.
Krasniqi initially grabbed the attention of the Serie A outfits when he was starring for Kosovan club Balkani, as he racked up 39 goals and 17 assists in 105 appearances over the course of four years. Cluj successfully signed Krasniqi for €200K on a three-year contract. However, that has not deterred interested clubs such as Bologna and Lazio from going about their inquiries.
Krasniqi is reportedly on Bologna’s radar for an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy worth €5M. Several young talents were onboarded by Bologna in the previous window, with Dan Ndoye, Victor Kristiansen, Oussama El Azzouzi, Giovanni Fabbian, and Riccardo Calafiori all now part of Thiago Motta’s Rossoblù setup.
