Bonucci Agent Scoffs at Some of the Recent Murmurs

Leonardo Bonucci has been shown the door by Juventus, but, as he previously stated, he’s determined to win back the coach and the management, who would instead like to lean on younger and less expensive players salary-wise. His agent Alessandro Lucci dished to Ansa

“I’m hearing many imaginary rumors about him. However, his firm intention is to stay with the Bianconeri. He was the captain up until a few months ago. He wants to earn a role inside such an important group.”

“Bonucci is an international-caliber player, Italy’s captain, and the leader of a team like Juventus. If some transfer market opportunies emerge, we’ll consider only destinations that are worthy of his level. We wish to find the best possible solution for everybody.”

The veteran has been excluded by Massimiliano Allegri and Cristiano Giuntoli at the start of the new season. He has a year on his contract. The rumor mill has linked him to Lazio, Roma, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, and Palermo so far.

According to Libero, Roberto Mancini offered Bonucci to join his staff in early June. The national team’s coach had perhaps already caught wind of Juventus’ decision. But the center-back wants to play for another campaign.
