Bremer Committed to Juventus Despite Outside Interest

Gleison Bremer is looking forward to the new season and won’t entertain the offers coming for him this summer. He revisited his first campaign and more in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“It was positive. I could have done more, but the first year at these levels is never easy. I’m happy, and I won’t start from scratch this time. I’ll have more experience, and the goal is to do better. We must improve last year’s position, which was third on the pitch. When you are here, you always hope to win. We are rebuilding, and the first step is to qualify for the Champions League.”

Bremer commented on the exclusion from the European Conference League.

“Having a full week will allow us to focus on Serie A. We had more time to practice at Torino. It’s tough when you play every three days. You don’t notice that in the first couple of months, but then you start to feel the fatigue. We’ll need to have a positive attitude. Juventus are still Juventus despite not playing in the Champions League.”

Bremer was quizzed about the rumored bids from the Premier League.

“It’s an important championship, but I want to stay here at the best club in Italy. I wish to do well with my current club. You can never know about the future, but I’m only thinking about the Bianconeri today.”
