Bremer Strongly Committed to Juventus After Renewal

Gleison Bremer just added a year to his Juventus contract, which now lasts until 2029, quashing the rumors about his possible exit this summer and perhaps in the future too. He commented to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I’m very happy. This is a great club that made me grow. I’ve discovered the Champions League here. I’m delighted to continue with a very ambitious team like me. We can reach great objectives together.”

“I know that very important sides pursued me, but the Bianconeri are too. Why should I start over elsewhere? I’m great here and want to win with these colors. I’ve been in Italy for six years: it’s my second home.”

Bremer is intrigued by the new Juventus course led by Cristiano Giuntoli and Thiago Motta.

“I believe in their multi-year project, which is why I chose to stay long-term. Their mission is to win like for all big teams. Coppa Italia was my first trophy, and I don’t want to stop. The director brought a lot of serenity. We talk often. I felt I could give even more, and he told me not to settle. He’s a great motivator.”

“The coach is very good. He wants to do well and measure up. We’re practicing hard on the physically too, not just with the ball. He always asks us to be our best selves. It’ll be a different year. It’s too early to tell what we could be in the running for. We surely want to aim high. This is the best club in Italy.”

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Bremer and Juventus agreed to raise his release clause, which will come into effect from next summer, to €70M.
