The time has come for Lazio to try their hand at the incumbent European Champions Bayern Munich and the official lineups have just been released. Simone Inzaghi will have his ideal squad available tonight at the Stadio Olimpico as they take on the Bavarians in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16.
The Biancocelesti will resort on Ciro Immobile and Joaquin Correa to try to open a breach into Bayern’s defense, supported by Luis Alberto’s creativity and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s solidity.
Hans-Dieter Flick, on the other hand, has a few problems with his lineup as he is missing key players like Benjamin Pavard, Serge Gnabry, and Thomas Muller. Nonetheless, his starting XI is still fearsome enough to elicit some reverence from any European side. Lazio have a tough task ahead of them.
